We are looking for an Administration and Operations Assistant to provide general administrative support and help an active, ambitious charity run smoothly. The successful applicant will also support our packed programme of inspiring events. This varied role will suit a self-starter who thrives on detail and enjoys working with people.

A full job description can be found here.

What you will do

Working closely with our Events and Operations Manager, you will:

  • Provide general administrative support: Organising meetings, taking minutes, arranging travel, managing contacts, and responding to enquiries.
  • Assist with preparing both in-person and virtual events, from reviewing venues and setting up online meetings, to troubleshooting on the day.
  • Assist with the production of documents, take minutes, and collate student data.

About you

You will have proven experience in administration or event coordination, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. You communicate clearly, work well under pressure, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders. Confidence with Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, and other online tools is essential, and experience with website content management or customer relationship management systems is a bonus.

Why join us?

This is your chance to make a difference in education while developing your skills in administration and events. You will be part of a friendly, committed, and supportive remote-working team, with opportunities to travel to inspiring venues and meet people who are shaping the future of technical education.
