What we do

Advance and inform technical education delivery

Baker Dearing works with a great many employers, universities, charitable organisations, government departments, and education providers to expand young people’s access to high-quality, employer-led technical education.

Baker Dearing and our partners support England’s 44 University Technical Colleges as the best means for improving young people’s access to technical education.

Employers

Businesses large and small work with Baker Dearing on events and projects nationwide for UTCs, providing employers with an opportunity to engage directly with enthusiastic students and to develop a pipeline of young talent into the business.

Universities

Each UTC is sponsored by a university, which enriches and stretches students’ learning in all UTCs by, for example, supporting projects that test students’ technical skills and giving the UTC access to the university’s cutting-edge facilities and equipment.

Third sector

Baker Dearing and its partners in the public and charitable sectors have mutually benefited from collaboration, including through the exchange of data, knowledge, and best practice. We have also successfully worked with a number of grant-making foundations to support a diverse range of projects.
