Baker Dearing supported a digital and engineering CPD day for UTC staff at engineering software company Ansys’ offices in Cambridge on Tuesday 24 June.

The day provided training for staff with a range of experiences and expertise. There was a workshop for staff who are new to Ansys software and its 3D product simulation platform. There was a concurrent session for staff with more experience on bridging the gap in simulation education for biomedical engineering students.

Health and hygiene goods company Reckitt delivered a workshop on how they use Ansys tools in their work, then late gave a presentation. Greater Peterborough UTC, UTC Sheffield City Centre, and Scarborough University Technical College gave presentations where they shared best practice for using Ansys software.
