CEO speaks on integrating employer engagement at careers guidance conference

Baker Dearing CEO Kate Ambrosi has today been speaking at the Westminster Forum Projects conference on careers guidance in England’s schools and colleges, in a session on integrating work experience and engagement with employers.

Through the event, Kate was able to highlight the success of University Technical Colleges in progressing young people to positive destinations through strong employer partnerships that feed into each UTC’s industry-relevant technical education curriculum. The slide below was used for precisely this purpose.

Attendees were also offered means by which they could improve progression within their own schools and colleges, including employer advisory boards and rolling out T Levels. UTCs that have adopted T Levels have seen incredible results and retention, outmatching the national averages.

Our thanks to the Westminster Education Forum for the opportunity.

Kate’s slides are below.
