Aston UTC celebrates 15th anniversary

Baker Dearing supported a 12 May event at Aston University Engineering Academy to celebrate 15 years since the idea for the UTC was conceived.

Leaders past and present of Aston University, which sponsors the UTC and is a firm supporter, played a large part in the visit. Baroness Baroness Brown, the former university Vice Chancellor who approved AUEA’s creation, was in attendance and current Vice Chancellor Professor Aleks Subic gave one of the first addresses of the day, discussing how the UTC was part of a “leading, growing vision” for the university.
